Feeling a need for an inclusive space for BIPOC adoptees (of all genders, identities, and experiences) to build community and collaborate, AIRE Roots was created. We believe that In the process of rooting ourselves in our collective and individual stories, we not only find healing and liberation, but as we come together we begin to mobilize gaining power, voice, and recognition. AIRE is grateful for the current collaboration and fiscal sponsorship from Asian Counseling and Referral Services (ACRS). Without their support AIREroots would not be possible.

AIREROOTS leadership
We envision a shared community space, created for and by all of us- and understand we cannot do this alone. We need our leadership to represent our community! We are seeking BIPOC adoptee leaders to join AIREroots leadership and support our dream of creating an inclusive and diverse space in collaboration with and through the joining of community.
This includes a leadership retreat in the Fall of 2024.

Affinity Spaces
AIRE Space
Affinity spaces for BIPOC adoptees to come together with a shared identity or experience and dialogue around the resources, strengths, and challenges of this shared experience. These groups will be facilitated by a paid, qualified BIPOC adoptee with shared experience/identity.
